TILT & Binary Present Todd Fink of THE FAINT (dj set) // THIEVES LIKE US Record Release Event!
We are totally excited to announce our HUGE event!
TILT has Teamed up with Binary in association with Kitsune & Danceism and we have really put together a REALLY solid line up for you L.A.!
This is going to be EPIC!
We cannot wait for this to go down.
This is going to be one of the best shows this summer hands down. Let us give you all some goodies to go along with this great news.
First we are going to give you one of our favorite FAINT songs remixed by our resident and fellow blogger Short Circuit. Glase Danse is still one of the hottest tracks to ever hit the scene. When it first came out, we really felt it represented and defined what the Indie/Electro sound was. With sharp high pitch synths, vocals and lyrics that can’t be touched with a wide range of catchy melodic bass and hard hitting disco beats the song structure is on point.THE FAINT are true pioneers of the sound, there is no doubt about it. We think everyone in L.A. Indie/Dance scene has been effected by this groups excellent work.
Check out what Short Circuit has done. He’s done a really great job of remixing this song and adding his own special touch to it. We love it when Andrew blesses us with an old school favorite, remixed to perfection. Enjoy this DJ Friendly edit.
Thieves Like Us gave us their last album “Play Music” and many said it was hands down one of the best albums this year. We are going to have to agree. We cannot wait for this new single “Really Like To See You Again” to drop . We’ll leave you with their new video that just came out about a week or so ago. These lyrics are AMAZING!
“See you in the club. See you in the crowd. See you in the West and see you on East side. Doubt is in your heart shattering your mind making you feel low it gives you a hard time. Meet me after dark show me all your scars show me all your thoughts I’ll show you a good time. See you in the club. See you in the crowd. I pass you by and I call your name. Your heart feels over and over. / Feels so low. “
