He’s one of our favorite producers from the UK and he has been making some major moves. His name is A1 Bassline of So Sweet has teamed up with The Sneaker Giants Converse and has delivered a killer video! Converse decided to do a prototype project called “First Cut”. Where they take some of the best Music Producers, teamed them up with cream of the crop video producers and had them come forward with their best art product. The results fucken are amazing! The Song “Bad Man Horror Theme” is unique and def one of our favorite songs of 09. We remember hearing the 1st edit of the song for the 1st time when A1 Bassline last played for us at TILT.

The kid has an ear for great production, coming with a Drum N Bass background he has mastered the art of Bassline Music. Bassline is a type of music related to UK garage that originated from speed garage, and shares characteristics with fellow subgenres dubstep and grime for their emphasis on bass with a four on the floor beat. We can’t wait for A1 Bassline to drop the full album. Until then, to satisfy your appitite for some serious Bassline Music, check out a few his mixes he’s knocked out for BBC RADIO 1.

I know what you mean as far as the video, it falls somewhere between an artsy short film and a music vid.
