We have some fresh Dub Jams for you this Sunday that will make you want the Summer to come faster. Sunny days, beaches, BBQ’s camping trips, friends and dub music always go hand in hand.

Miike Snow has made a huge impact on my musical taste. Their music slows down my days after dancing and running around L.A./Hollywood all night. This remix that Mark Ronson churned out totally makes me want to run to the beach and let the sun rays recharge the ol’ batteries. Mark Ronson changed up the whole song with an incredible Jamaican Dub sound. As you know, Mark has worked with artists from Santigold to Amy Winehouse. I gotta say this latest remix of “Animal” has me really excited for any other new releases coming in 2010. I hope he keeps that Dub sound comin’!

Skream is mostly known for his huge dancefloor hit “In for the Kill”, a remix he did for La Roux. His sound usually has a very Glitch/Dubstep feel. I was pleasantly surprised to hear his song “Dutch Flowerz” and the remix that the huge producer, Rusko, did for him. These two are bringing back that old Jamaican Dub Style that I love. I know this sound will become popular more and more in Los Angeles. I have a feeling this summer may be the right time for it.

Nice post. Thanks for uploading the Rusko remix of Dutch Flowerz. Just as a quick note on your writeup. Dutch Flowerz is actually off of Skream’s “Skream!” album that came out in 2006.

I think the Rusko remix was done around ’07 or ’08. Possibly later. You should definitely check out Skream’s track “Midnight Request Line.” Definitive Dubstep at it’s best!
