Sunday Dubs featuring Shy-FX

Lets flashback to 2001-2005 a time when Jungle/Drum N Bass was running my life and I spent everyday for 4 years DJ’n and bridging the Hip-Hop and Jungle sound. Yup, thats right, my roots go deep with this sound and I have extensive knowledge of a ton of great Jungle/ Drum n Bass music from that era. One of my favorite producers from that era was Shy-FX. Hommie had and still has his game LOCKED! Let me drop you two examples.

How can you not groove to these jams. It makes you want to get on the dancefloor and have a good time. I always loved how Reggae and Jungle music went hand in hand. It was a bit up beat but all in good fun. Rarely cheesy, the genre grew and kept the true sound of the music fresh, updated and DJ’s ate this shit up. If your a good DJ you know how to mix Jungle. Straight up. With one of the fastest BPM’s, you have to be a master on the decks to beat match a full 60min of records.

I’ve been lucky enough to see Shy-Fx myself about 3-4 times in my life and everytime this cat was FLAWLESS. Treat your self to some of his classic tracks and be sure to keep an eye on his new work coming out soon.HOPEFULLY you got to see him at EDC! If you did your totally as hype on him as I am!
