TILT Spotlight: Andy Gold
Andy Gold discovered his passion for electronic music a little over a year ago when his brother JEDI, who was already a working DJ/producer, visited him overseas in Japan. Ever since his brother introduced Andy to EDM, Andy had entered a world he would never leave. He was fascinated by the freedom and infinite combination of sound designing. Utilizing his song-writing skills from his high school and college rock band days, Andy quickly started to develop his own sound with melodic harmonies and catchy chord progressions.
We’ve selected a few key tracks from his selection to spotlight here, but you should definitely check out the rest of his stuff on SoundCloud. Below you’ll find a really fun house remix of The Darkness’ “I Believe In A Thing Called Love”, an enormous mashup that puts Sunnery James and Ryan Marciano, Dubvision’s “Triton” up against Zedd and Matthew Koma’s “Spectrum”, as well as a very cool original called “PANIK” that would give Hardwell and those guys a run for their money. Enjoy!
