TILT Spotlight: Jane Elizabeth Hanley

Jane Elizabeth Hanley, also known as Kids At Midnight, is a songstress singer/songwriter/producer from Australia that first entered the world with her EP Let You Slide on Alan Braxe’s Vulture label. Jane struck a chord with fans with her lovestruck synth based electro ballad romanti-jams. Her sound (haunting chameleon vocals and vintage synths) snuggles comfortably alongside the catalogue of legendary Vulture artists like Alan Braxe, Lifelike and Kris Menace.

The Kids At Midnight sound…it’s a bit electronic, it’s a bit pop, it’s a bit nerdy, but it’s honest. One guy told me it made him want to take his pants off and dance…that’s sort of all you could wish for really!”

Jane has also worked heavily as a singer/songwriter with other artists, releasing the much loved cover of Phoenix’s “Lisztomania” with Edwin Van Cleef and collaborations with producers like Ride The Universe, Quinten 909, Error Operator, Cryptonites and Futurecop!, to name a few.

Below you can find a few choice songs from Jane’s collection, including the aforementioned “Lisztomania” cover, her “HABITS” single, and a brand new collaboration released last week with Nude Harris called “Kill Me Softly”. Enjoy all three and be sure to follow Jane on SoundCloud, Facebook and Twitter.
