There really hasn't been a single thing The Golden Pony has ever put out that I didn't absolutely adore. Their remixes of Dr. Dre, Avicii, Daft Punk, fucking Simon & Garfunkel -- all of them have been amazing. And with the launch of their original works, "Bonfire" and "Filthy Lover", the two Brooklyn lads are finally getting to the place they want to be I'd imagine. Super happy for them. Their latest though, a remix of Flume & Chet Faker's "Drop The Game", is my favorite of all of everything they've ever done. It came out earlier this month and I can safely say I've listened to it everyday since. It's a seriously cooled-out house beat with perfect bass and the most out-of-this-world saxophone work maybe ever. Really has the potential to take you far away from where ever you are. And that's what it's all about right?
