Patrick Grant – Lonely Ride Coney Island
We just discovered a very interesting album by the composer Patrick Grant. ‘A Sequence of Waves (twelve stories and a dream)’ is available to stream in full right here. But track nine, “Lonely Ride Coney Island” was a stand out for us. His style wanders somewhere in-between psych rock, cinematic textures and classical music. The synth modeling is impressive and the dark chords ride comfortably under a grooving reverby beat.
