The Noisy Freaks - I Need You Back

Wowowowowowowow! This is amazing!

Hailing from France, The Noisy Freaks are here to bring their nu-disco tracks to the masses with the release of their new single "I Need You Back". The breakthrough duo was able to wow Gramatik as they opened for him in Paris this past May and now, with the support of the Lowtemp crew, they are ready to show the world what they are made of.

This is a must-hear tune for any fans of old school Daft Punk. Guarantee to knock your socks off into a starry orbit. Enjoy!

Lane 8 ft. Lucy Stone - Nothing You Can Say (SEE TAI Remix)

This is an absolutely gorgeous piece of music right here. It comes from a new name to us here at TILT, a Louisville, Kentucky based artist named SEE TAI. Dude has been around for a minute, but for whatever reason we're just hearing him now. In the case for sure, later is definitely better than never. His remix of Lane 8 and Lucy Stone's "Nothing You Can Say" is a perfect upbeat house tune with wonderful elements of indie pop and funk. Enjoy every second of it below.

Creange - Le Soleil

Here's a fantastic bit of bubbly and poppy house for you courtesy of France's Creange. You might recognize his name as he's put out a few top-notch remixes, most notably perhaps his take on DARKSIDE's "Paper Trails". Listen to that one first, below.

"Le Soleil" ("The Sun") is Creange's first ever original track and it's gorgeous. He says, "I've made it with one goal: taking people on a journey through summer, a journey brightened up by stellar synths and powerful beats. Really wanted it to embody both the happiness of promising sunny days and the charming nostalgia of an early fall. Hope it will lift you up and fill you with an irrepressible longing for summer!" You've done just that, Creange. Thank you. :)

Comets We Fall - Together We Are (Feat. Coleman Trapp)

This song is perfect... So perfect that I showed it to my 89 year old Dutch grandmother and she loved it.

It's like Arty's "Together We Are" meets deep disco with insanely catchy lyrics and a fat bassline. So thank you Comets We Fall for making all my deep disco dreams come true (▰˘◡˘▰)

Viceroy - The Life Feat. Penguin Prison

With his 'summertime all the time' motto in tow, Viceroy teams up with fellow brother-in-vibes Penguin Prison to put out this new single "The Life". No stranger to the pool party aesthetic, on the new single Viceroy champions his own unique brand of lush, Tropi-cool house disco, that pairs perfectly with his extensive Hawaiian shirt collection, giving us a glimpse of 'The Life' we should be all aspiring to this summer.

"'The Life' really encompasses my motto 'Summertime All The Time' - grab your friends, get outside, and don't let anything get in the way of you having a good time. Penguin Prison's vocals really bring the vision full circle, pushing the song to that exciting next level. It's not a complex idea by any means: just live it up!" - Viceroy

Alexander Rome - Place In Time

It's Monday morning and I'm hoping that most of you are either still hungover from the holiday weekend or are up and ready to grind. Either way, we've got the tunes to get you through. :)

First thing's first, we've got a sweet piece from Alexander Rome. Dude comes from Sydney, Australia (where ONLY good music comes from). Inspired by classic disco grooves of the 70s and popular dance music his work pulls from the old and the new to bring a new kind of feel-good music to the scene. After months in the studio, he and his team finally finished his debut EP, and are excited to release "Place In Time", the first track of the record. Go ahead.

If you're digging these chill, funky vibes as much as we are, then you'll want to follow Alexander Rome on SoundCloud for sure. And as soon as that EP is out, we'll let you know!

Housing Corp - Mad Love

Housing Corp's "Mad Love" is mega deep and funky and is a perfect warm-up track for any good club night. You disco lovers will really love this one. I can see you listening with your bottles of Jameson right now. The guys say, "We've been playing this in our sets for the last few months and loads of people come and ask us what it is - so we thought we had better drop it." We're glad they did. This is a great freebie right here.

He also just dropped an EP via Discotexas, of course... It's pretty wonderful. Listen.

In need of some deep house? Seems like we were hearing a lot of this stuff for a minute and then it started to fade away. I was really enjoying it though, and I'm glad we're still getting sent stuff like this. Check out Disco Mike's remix of David Eye's "Can U Feel". It's really pretty!

Kill Me Softly feat Jane Elizabeth Hanley - Catch (Tobtok Remix)

I'm so happy about this particular release. You should definitely scope the Nude Disco Records' SoundCloud page for the whole thing. But man, the dude Tobtok remixing anything with my girl Jane is something to get excited about. This makes me really happy. Did I say that already?

"Catch" by Kill Me Softly features the voice of Jane Elizabeth Hanley, who describes the song very nicely as "a sweet little 80’s classic pop influenced nu disco jam made for falling in love on the dancefloor…"

The Tobtok remix keeps the track firmly in the Nu Disco genre but takes all the original elements and inflates them to another level in his own inimitable style. Go ahead and listen and fall in love with this one below!

Kelis - Milkshake (Shoe Scene Symphony Remix)

For whatever reason this one's perfect for today. We all know and love or hate Kelis' "Milkshake", but I guarantee you have never heard it quite like this. Our friends at Shoe Scene Symphony remixed the one-hitter and turned it into a super dance-y house tune with some seriously funky bass and even some cool 90s hip-hop beats in the mix of the breakdowns. These guys always deliver something good. Turn it up below and be sure to follow the guys on SoundCloud, Facebook, and Twitter.

BRAND NEW: Club Soda - No Strangers To Love

Just last week we premiered Club Soda's very first song ever, "Sometimes". Click here if you missed that.

The guys are steady making moves and today they put out their second ever creation via HOF. It's another sweet downtempo disco jam called "No Strangers To Love" which pays homage to Rick Astley.

The guys say, "That Rick Astley record has phenomenal vocals on it, but at this point it is pretty campy. We wanted to take the familiarity of that record, add as much froth as possible, and update it so you could play it again today. This is an early in the evening kind of record. Just a fun, bubbly, downtempo jammy."

TILT Premiere: Club Soda - Sometimes

Club Soda is the inevitable result of DJ Maple Syrup and Robot Eating Dragon making music together. When you throw a veteran club DJ and a classically trained pianist who is obsessed with analog synthesizers in the studio together, you're bound to get some dope frothy music. The two reside right here in Los Angeles.

Today they let us sexy humans here at TILT get the first listen to their debut "Sometimes". It's perfect for us too, it's like disco house but cooler and clubbier. Sounds right, doesn't it? Also has some killer vocals. Yup. Go ahead and turn those speakers up and enjoy "Sometimes" by our friends at Club Soda.

TILT Weekend Round-up #7 w/ Chance The Rapper, Carlos Serrano, Casper Zazz, Elephante, Pat Lok & more...

It's Thursday afternoon and I'm in Sacramento where it's currently about 1000 degrees hot as fuck right now... My ceiling fan can't provide enough cool to get me through the weekend, but fortunately I've got a bunch of music that can.

Chance The Rapper tops the headline in this seventh edition of our TILT weekend round-ups as he delivers an emotional single with Social Experiment called "I Am Very Very Lonely". It hits home. We've got a cool mash from Carlos Serrano who puts Gambino up against Aluna George. It works incredibly well. Casper Zazz is a totally new name to me, but one that cannot be ignored. Casper's take on Ed Sheeran's "I See Fire" is seriously unforgettable. Elephante dropped that prog-house heat with Lincoln Jesser. Don't miss that one at all. And Pat Lok, one of the sturdiest names in the indie-house league, shared with us a track called "Needy" that I'm absolutely very fond of.

Enjoy everything. There's a lot. I love you.
