DON'T MISS: MARC3ll - Wake N Bake

4/20 might be over, but the music's still very much alive. And if you're a stoner like me, then everyday's 4/20, really. MARC3ll is the name of the man who dropped this cool, smoked-out cut "Wake N Bake". A solid beat rides along with a big grand piano while MARC3ll paints a picture of how he got into the herb. It's a fun tune that does exactly what it's supposed to. Enjoy it below. ;)

BRAND NEW: The Penelopes - Time To Shine

I fell head-over-heels in love The Penelopes (Axel Basquiat and Vincent T.) when they pulled off that gorgeous redo of The Cure's "Just Like Heaven". And what I've found since perusing their SoundCloud is a super fun collection of passionate indie-dance jams that I think have mass appeal. Their new one came in the mail today. It's called "Time To Shine".

The track was written by Axel in a hotel room in Tokyo last winter using a bass, a cheap keyboard and a drum machine. When brought into the studio the song was spiced up with some French-electronic and 80s flavors, becoming an upbeat, anthemic electro track reminiscent of hedonistic, Flashdance-era Moroder.

The Penelopes are currently in the studio recording new material and working on new remixes, with more news on this coming soon. Follow them on Facebook for updates.

BRAND NEW: Misterwives - Reflections (Gryffin Remix)

If you haven't heard of Gryffin yet, or if maybe you recognize the name but can't quite remember, it's all good... Let us reintroduce you to him with his new remix of Misterwives' "Reflections". It's amazing.

I like what Yaqui said about Gryffin and that his music is like something you've heard before (and loved deeply) but you actually haven't. That was literally the best way to describe it.

God damn. OK. So any followers of TILT should be familiar with the homie Bamboora by now, but Micetro (pictured above) is a new name to us and together they've literally murdered Hardwell & MAKJ's "Countdown". It's nasty. The kids will love it. Go ahead. It's a free download at Micetro's Facebook.

The mix is full of solid house jams that'll keep you going all day. Enjoy it! & there's always more on their SoundCloud.

Afrojack ft. Wrabel - Ten Feet Tall (Brito Remix)

Electro is completely hit-or-miss now, and has been for probably a couple, maybe few years... Brito makes the kind that hits. Take his new remix of Afrojack & Wrabel's "Ten Feet Tall". It's simple, really. It's classic. It's perfect. It makes me feel like this kind of music still stands a chance. Take a listen below and let us know what you think. Can you still feel it?

BRAND NEW: Roman Austin - Ask About Me

Premiering over at HOF today is a new track from Sacramento, CA-based producer/songwriter/performer, Roman Austin. "Ask About Me" really caught us a bit off guard when we heard it. Roman's production and vocals on this one deliver a sweet alternative R&B get-down. And the opening line, "Girl you a dyke cuz your boyfriend's a bitch," should probably go down in history. It's a sexy-time tune, no doubt about it. Check out the stream and free download below. Turn it up loud and let us know what you think!

We Are Toonz - Drop That NaeNae (Danger Ultra Trap Remix)

One of the greatest things about following dope remix artists is that you'll discover equally dope original artists. As is the case with the homie Danger Ultra and his new remix of We Are Toonz' "Drop That NaeNae". Scope the original if you're like me and hadn't heard it yet. Shit's straight looney.

Danger kept the original pretty much intact with his remix. His just hits a little bit harder. Go ahead!

DON'T MISS: Destiny's Child - Bills, Bills, Bills (LOLO BX Bootleg)

If you know me or follow TILT at all, then you might be familiar with these two guys from Australia that go by the name of LOLO BX. The duo are fresh by all means, from their sounds to their style.

Last week they delivered a brand new remix. Not gonna lie, I was pretty ecstatic when I saw that it was a Destiny's Child mix. I love me all three of these women and the music they used to make. LOLO BX's take on "Bills, Bills, Bills" promises their signature alternative dance music sound. There's lots of bouncy-bass action, cool clicks to snap your fingers to and, of course, those words we Destiny's Child fans all know and love to sing.

So grab ya girls. The stream and download are below.

I heard SHIRT fucked Rihanna. You didn't hear it from us though.

The New York-based rapper recently made headlines of The New York Times, which definitely caught my eye. In there, he breaks down the scene in the city (something we don't know too much about here in Cali, but find interesting no doubt) and we get some insight into his brand new album, perhaps satirically called 'RAP'. We've got the long-playing stream of that below. Peep the track-list and go for it.

FRESH: SecLuse's Free 'Transform' EP

secLuse is the musical partnership of David Sullivan and Andrea McKenzie. David and Andrea have set out to develop their own blend of melodic down-tempo electronic music. The Melbourne based duo create detailed productions and arrangements, and have worked hard to develop a carefully crafted sound that’s all their own. You'll hear this immediately when you push play on their incredible intro to the EP, "Lawless", below.

The duo have spent nearly 2 years developing their music and performance, an effort that led to 'Transform' which is available for free download now. Through a fascinating pattern of samples, analog drum beats, layers of synthesizers, guitars and Andrea's warm and heartfelt lead vocals,
the new tracks showcase a compelling blend of old school house bass lines, 80s pop shades and UK garage and dubstep grooves with a down-tempo feel.

Enjoy the whole thing below, and be sure to follow these guys on SoundCloud for more as it comes.

Dimond Saints - We Diamonds (Music Video + Free Download)

If you haven't been keeping up with us, then you've probably missed out on Dimond Saints, easily the dopest new duo to storm the dance scene this year. For a quick refresher course so you can tell you're friends you're cool, click here and here....

The dimly-lit hooded tag-team have just released their first original titled "We Diamonds". It comes with a cool audio-visual sort of treatment that perfectly reflects the heavy drums and bass and eerie vocals. Watch that below.

"We Diamonds" is the first single from their debut three-part album, with the first part set to be released in February. If this is just the start, we can see a bright and shiny future for the Dimond Saints. Enjoy the audio-stream and download of the single below.

Vizier - Tonight

"Tonight" is the debut production from a mysterious Dubai-based artist named Vizier. He calls it "420 Music" and I'd agree. It's a great chill-out sound experience that maintains a ride to climax and end. A seriously impressive debut that leaves me very excited to hear more from the man. Check it out below.

If you're enjoying this as much as I am, stay up to date with him at Facebook.

LBCK - Give & Take (Free Download)

(photo via @HOFisbetter)

Last week we shared our friends LBCK's 'The Goods' album and got word that a new original tune from the Long Beach duo was on the way. Well, earlier this week the guys uploaded "Give & Take" to their SoundCloud and, without any real announcement on their end, the track has made it's way into a lot of good hands. The sweet all original mix is their contribution to Funky Panda and edmSpotlight's latest compilation, and it's completely free to download. Enjoy "Give & Take" below.

Balter's Free 'Overdose' EP

Kane Hart is the name of the man behind producer/DJ alias Balter who's also 1/2 of Bombaclat DJs. 'Overdose', which you can find below, is his brand new, debut EP that's entirely free to download. It's a 3-track EP and is very electro/acid/bass-driven. Kane says he "incorporated unique sounds with powerful drops [and] I hope you get as much satisfaction listening to them as I do." I'm thoroughly satisfied. Check out the EP below and grab the free download by clicking here.

Audego - Liar (Free Download)

Audego are probably up there at the top of my favorite things music coming out of Australia. And that's saying a lot because almost everything tight musically comes in some form from Australia. Their album Beneath the Static and the Low is in constant rotation in my playlists and I'm so happy they're the type of musicians that continue to put out more and more music to keep fans like myself happy. :)

Check out their brand new free download "Liar" below. I can't even begin to explain the cool things they've done with this one, you just gotta hear it. Enjoy.
