RiFF RAFF - How To Be The Man (MEAUX GREEN REMiX)

Even though I'm not a man, if RiFF RAFF or Meaux Green are teaching lessons on how to be the man, then I'm taking notes.

Brushing up on the lyrics on rap.genius.com:

I really appreciate whoever took the time to add this GIF of cute kittens to the breakdown of the meaning of the  lyrics

RiFF RAFF's vines have gotten me through many sleepless nights when I'm bored and no one else is up to talk to. I think he's hilarious and therefore I'm picking up whatever he's putting down.  "How To Be The Man" is my favorite track off Neon Icon ("Kokayne" is a close second) so I'm pretty amped on this remix.

Meaux Green takes Jody Highroller to an even higher level. It's "rave-hop"... I love it.

P.S. did anyone else catch RiFF RAFF chillin backstage at EDC? *as if he was a real boy* Taking a helicopter with Diplo and whatever... Guess that was just Jody showing us how to be the man.

Red Hot Chili Peppers - Can't Stop (Johnny Roxx Remix)

Remixes are getting better and better these days I swear. Not just the quality of them, but the selection and ability of them. I'm constantly blown away by what producers these days can do with tracks I'd never expect to be remade into something just as good as the originals. As is the case with Johnny Roxx' new one of Red Hot Chili Peppers' "Can't Stop". It's so dope. Go ahead.

Mr. Probz - Waves (Ronnie & Wylde Bootleg)

Oh damn. These guys Ronnie & Wylde got some serious talent. The first thing I've heard from them is this remix of Mr. Probz' "Waves" which is literally perfection. A progressive indie house mix, I can't wait for you guys to hear the bass they've got going in here. It's so full. I definitely suggest taking a look through their SoundCloud collection, but definitely push play on the stream below. Yee. :)

TILT Premiere: Onyx - Slam (Middle Finger Remix)

Last month we shared the mysterious production duo Middle Finger's debut remix of Drake's "Trophies" that took us totally by surprise with its pure energetic sound quality. While they keep quiet about their identities though, it seems like we can definitely expect these guys to provide us all with solid turn up tunes. We've got the first listen on their latest which throws it back to '93 for a sick remix of Onyx's classic "Slam". Go right ahead.

Yep. We're stoked on these guys. Make sure you follow Middle Finger on SoundCloud.

LIAM BACK - BLᗄKK ЯO$E$

I'm legitimately stoked about discovering this dude LIAM BACK. His sound is so fucking fresh. I mean, it's trap, and we're all familiar with how that sounds. But this dude does it differently. It's got soul somehow. It's got vision. It's not just a bunch of noise to make you go crazy. Feel me by listening to "BLᗄKK ЯO$E$" below.

Listen to this one "Existential" too.

Hit that follow button on LIAM's SoundCloud.

Tittsworth Feat. Q-Tip, Theophilus London, & Alison Carney - After The Dance

I saw this one come out the other day and was really like, "Holy shit... Is this real?" It is.

Sam Lucia - Sex Theory Vol. I-III

We've been supporting Sam Lucia since day one (I love when we can actually say that). And since the beginning, he's all but proved to be one hell of an alternative hip-hop artist that we can always rely on for enjoyable, outside-the-box music.

Today marks the release of something very special: 'Sex Theory Vol. I-III', which will be included on his debut mixtape 'White Wine & Black Thoughts' due out the 1st of August. Listen to the first part "Depth" right now...

Sam says, "This is a wavy sexcapade disguised as a slowjam which depicts my first encounter with a girl I've just met and me giving reasons why I should be the next man in her life." Ah, Lu. I feel you.

Next up is "Bedposts". Where as "Depth" is the part where the two soon-to-be lovers meet, this part is the getting down. The sex. Heavy drums here make for a hot minute in bed.

Part three is called "Voyeurism" and it might be the sexiest of all, especially as it taps into fantasies literally every single heterosexual male on this planet has. Sam describes it like, "This one is about seeing a woman in passing publicly and imagining/hoping she'll sporadically flip and turn into the sexual deviant from my fantasies while also realizing that we wouldn't connect past the sheets as we both have other lives so we can only look at each other from afar."

This is going to be a great mixtape, no doubt about it. Be sure to follow Sam Lucia on SoundCloud for the next drop.

Flatland Funk & Shwann - Schizophrenia

Ah, yes... It's been a while since we posted in a big massive electro progressive house stuff. And who better to reel us back in but our man Shwann? ;)

Shwann says, "My first collab with Flatland Funk features a trance-inspired, hands in the air breakdown, that quickly turns into an explosively gritty chaotic piece of audio energy that promises to be an assault on the senses. Enjoy the free download!" Yeah! Enjoy that for sure.

Devil Disco - Vanity

I wondered a while back if we'd seen the last of Devil Disco, the incredibly dark and dirty techno producer from Brooklyn. I'm seriously so glad we haven't. Devil Disco (Chris Bolarinho) just premiered a video and stream for something called "Vantiy" via Earmilk and it's pretty thrilling. Watch.

"The track is positively soul-sucking but in the most seductive and attention-grabbing way possible. In the accompanying music video teaser Bolarinho experiments with those narcissistic demons with a haunting display of a vanity mirror dripping in dark red blood. The unique sound sample addition of the nearly unintelligible demonic chants only enhance the horror feel to the entire production."

Couldn't say it any better myself.

Sol Rising - Morning Light

We hope everyone remembers the sounds of Oakland's Sol Rising. This dude's music is seriously good. We put our TILT Spotlight on him back in May when he was just starting to share his 'Mystical Awakening' album, and today we've got another couple beautiful tunes off that record for you. Listen.

He really paints a spectacular picture through his music that's vibey and airy and still funky and dancey... It takes you away as all good music does. If you're not already, be sure to follow Sol Rising on SoundCloud. There's a bunch more goodies from him there!

TILT Spotlight: LBCK

Long Beach duo LBCK (“Long Beach City Kids”) consisting of members Alex Noble and Luigi III debuted their acclaimed album ‘The Goods’ back in August of 2013 and have been in the studio working on more of their coined “Soul Funk” music ever since. After ‘The Goods’, LBCK delivered a cool “Give & Take” original as part of the edmSpotlight Vol. III compilation, as well as a fun remix for Foxe Basin’s “Chop Chop”.

Now, LBCK is delighted to bring us their new free remix of Mariah Carey’s classic, “Emotions”. Alex and Luigi say, "It's an all-original remix -- we just wanted to touch on an old classic and put a funky spin on it. Lots of summery good vibes in here. Plus, it's the beginning of our summer release catalog with many official and free releases coming soon!”

There’s a lot more to come from LBCK this summer, but in the meantime, enjoy their new remix and get a glimpse of their upcoming releases below. :)

Housing Corp - Mad Love

Housing Corp's "Mad Love" is mega deep and funky and is a perfect warm-up track for any good club night. You disco lovers will really love this one. I can see you listening with your bottles of Jameson right now. The guys say, "We've been playing this in our sets for the last few months and loads of people come and ask us what it is - so we thought we had better drop it." We're glad they did. This is a great freebie right here.

Tobu & Itro - Sunburst (PenThoX Remix)

Here's a dope artist out of Sweden who goes by the name of PenThoX. He just dropped a really good remix of Tobu & Itro's hit "Sunburst" in which he blends a beautiful cinematic build with an amazing melodic drop. This one will keep any dance floor moving. So turn your speakers up, push play, and enjoy. :)

La Roux - Tropical Chancer (Colour Vision Remix)

One thing's for sure, Colour Vision always comes through with the happy vibes. Check out his brand new remix of La Roux's "Tropical Chancer". It's a very fitting remix for him, we think, and he did a great job making this a downtempo little disco jam. So yeah, break out the pineapples and your milkshake makers and milkshake ingredients and of course some good rum and have a party in paradise, where ever you are, with this.

Goshfather & Jinco - Ole, Ole

"Ole!" indeed my good people...

Cali based duo Goshfather & Jinco have World Cup fever just like the rest of the world. To overcome their woes of the Portugal versus USA tie on Sunday, G&J have released an original mix of the official 2014 FIFA World Cup Song, “We Are One (Ole Ola)”. This energetic and invigorating big beat track comes in at a swift 125 beats per minute and has a hook that will illicit the greatest feeling of pride in every single soccer fan.

In celebration of the World Cup, Goshfather & Jinco are offering this track as a free download to get everyone from the field to the stands to clap their hands.

Sorry if you missed their video announcement that had a bunch of big booty girls playing soccer. It was nice. If it resurfaces, we'll definitely let you know.

Madonna - Holiday (Fare Soldi Remix)

Oh hi Fare Soldi! I've missed you so much! Very cool picture of Madonna with a very cool shirt. Also, very cool remix. ;)

Little Dragon - Nabuma Rubberband (AIMES Rework)

Man, I just made acquaintance with this dude AIMES, whose remix of Little Dragon's "Nabuma Rubberband" blew my mind. Listen.

The deep rolling bass is everything and his subtle yet powerful house beat makes me want to fly. AIMES is definitely an artist to watch closely, so make sure you follow the dude on SoundCloud.

Golf Clap - Future (Bit Funk Remix)

Bit Funk always comes through with something nice. Check out his latest, a remix of Gold Clap's "Future", and listen to his "1nce Again" remix perhaps once again.

Jamie Woon - Shoulda (Fabich & Ferdinand Weber Remix)

Ah, yes... Nothing makes me happier than getting something new from the Fabich & Ferdinand Weber guys. They are so cool, and they are such good music makers. :)

As usual, the German men have served up a seriously funky, deep remix, this time of Jamie Woon's "Shoulda". If you haven't heard the original, you should take a listen to that too.

BRAND NEW: The Fugees - Killing Me Softly (Black Boots Remix)

Weird music > basic bitch music. And there's no weirder DJs than Black Boots. Today the Las Vegas duo released their newest remix of the Fugees' "Killing Me Softly".  They took a classic and as Missy Elliot would say, "They put their thing down, flip it, and reverse it". Time to get weird.
